This morning, we had the sweetest father and son come into the shop…
They were choosing flowers for his nanny. 💜
Dad gently asked, “What would you like to give nanny, son?”
And the little one took his time… carefully exploring each stem.
He picked out purple blooms as they are nanny’s favourite colour — September flower, iris, lisianthus —
and proudly pointed to a carnation stems, saying,
“These ones look like bamboo!” 🌿
Then he held up the two-tone carnations and whispered,
“These look like the sun.” ☀️
He chose robin paper and a purple satin ribbon to finish it perfectly.
Such a natural little designer.
As we chatted, he told me all about how he grows his own vegetables.
My heart melted. 🥕💛
So I gave him my business card and said,
“If you ever have any leftovers, I’d love to buy them.”
A tiny gardener with the sweetest soul.
Bless him. 💜
